 School year    Class Sessions                             3-4 student max / class

 Ages 6-12    KidsCanSew curriculum (the #1 sewing program designed especially for children).

Teens 13-17   KidsCanSew for Teens and/or You Can Make It!  Workbook lessons / patterns

Adults 18 & up  You Can Make It!  After basics taught (KCS for Adults?) - Using commercial patterns

 
Three - 2008-9 School Year Sessions
I.     Sept, Oct & Nov  -  Fall session  … Sept. 2, 3 or 4  thru  Nov 18, 19 or 20      

           II.    Jan, Feb, & Mar   -  Winter session  … Jan 6, 7, or 8  thru  Mar 24, 25or 26

III. April, May & June*- Spring session   March 31, April 1, or 2 thru June 9, 10, or 11

Kids Can Sew / Year 1, 2, 3, or 4 - Machine Sewing      1 hr class/week.  All machines and tools provided.  All sewing is done in class.   One student per machine.   Every student has their own workbook and pattern set. Students work at their own pace.  Each project should finish in 3-4 weeks.   Students learn to sew basic clothing items such as tops, pants, shorts, nightshirt, skirts etc.  Fabric and notions for the first project included in tuition.  Students are responsible for providing their own fabric and notions for all other projects.  A supply list is available before student begins each new project (in workbook).  Fabric  & notions for sewing bags included in deposit.

 Tuition $60 monthly + $40 registration/workbook/supplies etc  -  ($40) non-refundable deposit/registration secures seat in class
    Monthly tuition is due at first class each month.     *June is a ½ month: tuition is $30 
    Use Academy's tools or purchase your own - Optional personal sewing kit $7

Adult and /or Teens classes  3-4 students    Either -- Adults/Teens Can Sew or You Can Make It!  (Student choice)
        Students work at their own pace on their own projects

   Adult Fall schedule :  Tues, Wed, Thurs 1-2 pm   or   7-8 pm  (same dates as for children -- see calendar)
    Students supply their own commercial patterns (You Can Make It!), fabric and notions (with information assistance from instructor  --  pattern suggestion lists for each level from Simplicity, McCalls, NewLook, Butterick, Burda, & Vogue)



New students welcome at the beginning of the month to any class with an available seat.

Such as:    3hour / 3-day camps during school vacations and breaks  
                            --  9-12 am or 1-4 pm  as interest is shown.
